Since Currenge serves customers, through its Bank HaPoalim account, who have had significant amounts of shekels converted to dollars and/or euros, customers with dollar and/or euro to shekel conversions may be able to convert at Currenge against the monies of customers converting shekels.
Such a conversion, given synchronization of the reverse conversions of two customers, may allow both customers to receive a better rate, so that the total cost of the conversion will be only 0.1%, with a $20 minimum charge, plus $2.85, which is the cost of transferring foreign exchange between two bank accounts which are both held at Bank HaPoalim.
