We strive to perform your transaction as quickly as possible. The duration it may take for a money transferred to Currenge’s bank account to be available for transaction execution depends on the type of chosen transfer, and the currency transferred.
Money nominated in shekels, transferred to Currenge using a regular Israeli bank transfer, or foreign currency, which originate from a bank account in Israel or abroad, is expected to be available for our transaction execution for you, within the same day it is deposited in the Currenge bank account or on the following next banking business day.
A money transfer nominated in shekels or a foreign currency, which is originating from a bank account held at such a Bank where Currenge holds a bank account might at first appear on our bank account, with the status “on probation” (“pending”) on the day of the transfer, and is expected to be available for transaction execution the same day it arrives or on the following business day. Currenge holds bank accounts at HaPoalim, Leumi, Discount, First International bank of Israel, and Mizrachi-Tefahot banks.
How can the availability for transaction execution of money transferred be expedited? Speed can be achieved through the use of the fast money transfer system, managed by the Bank of Israel, which is known as the Zahav system. This system allows immediate transfer of shekels between bank accounts held within Israeli banks.
In transactions amounting to up to the equivalent of tens of thousands of dollars, money may be available for your transaction execution, relatively immediately.
